Ayurvedic skin care consultation:
An initial Ayurvedic skin care consultation involves a detailed Ayurvedic pulse analysis and a discussion to determine your unique constitution. During this session classical Ayurvedic skin care therapies are recommended and designed according to your skin requirements.
1. Abhyanga: Ayurvedic lymphatic hot oil massage:
Abhyanga is a fun body massage given with customized herbal oils to detoxify, nourish and revitalize your skin. This hot oil massage enhances blood circulation, thus rejuvenating and beautifying the skin. Ayurvedic massage is usually done with two therapists working on each half of the body simultaneously. It has specialized strokes that go much deeper than the regular massage. The heat of the oil loosens and liquefies the toxins that are located under the skin.
2. Swedana: Ayurvedic steam therapy:
Abhyanga is followed by herbal steam therapy. Toxins that are loosened after Abhyanga ooze out of the skin during the steam therapy.
3. Ayurvedic body scrub: (Udvartana)
Udvartana begins with the application and scrubbing of soothing, therapeutic, exfoliating herbal powders and grains. The herbs in the scrub go deep in to the skin pores that are opened up after the steam therapy and bring out deep rooted toxins.
4. Ayurvedic Body Pack:
Unblock deep seated toxins with our purifying and exfoliating herbal clay mask body therapy. This treatment starts with the application of a specialized herbal clay that is kneaded into your body to increase circulation and revitalize the skin. A hot bath or steam therapy follows the treatment to keep you in bliss for days to come. Regular use can increase blood circulation and leave the skin smooth and supple.
5. Ayurvedic herbal Facial
Experience a very traditional Ayurvedic skin treatment that involves an intricate Ayurvedic facial massage which activates deep marma/reflex points and improves circulation. After this, herbal powders, grains, and pulses are mixed with rosewater and milk according to ancient concepts which are used to gently cleanse, exfoliate and nurture your skin complexion. Precious oils such as saffron and sandalwood are selected to give your face a natural radiance. Our herbal Facial is customized according to your skin's dosha type.
