Jeannie Jhu, PA-C
Jeannie grew up in Southern California. From the age of 16 until 22, she worked in a nutritional/health food establishment where she learned about natural remedies, the importance of diet as it relates to health, supplementation, and alternative therapies for medical conditions. She received her bachelor's degree from UC Irvine. After graduating, she pursued a career as a Physician Assistant by getting experience in a multitude of specialties.
Jeannie was accepted to UC Davis' Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program in 1999, and graduated in 2001. As a PA, she worked in various avenues of medicine to gain as much knowledge as possible, including several surgical specialties, Dermatology, Family Practice/Internal Medicine, Urgent Care/ER, and Occupational medicine. Throughout her career Jeannie has noticed that lifestyle and diet were rarely discussed when devising a treatment plan for patients. She believes that in order to achieve optimal health, providers must address these topics and treat the whole person. This is her goal for the patients at MDI Wellness.
