Peter Boffey
Peter
Boffey, Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, is a 2008 graduate of the
Feldenkrais Training Institute in Berkeley. His personal and professional
experience have evolved such that an alternative medical model of service is a
supportive framework for his work helping others move toward “making the
impossible, possible; the possible, easy; and the easy, elegant.” (Moshe
Feldenkrais, D.Sc.).
After exploring various approaches to relieving his own long-term, debilitating pain, Peter discovered the Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education® in 1998. Since then he has been studying and teaching in the East Bay, as a direct beneficiary of Awareness Through Movement™ group lessons and Functional Integration™ individual sessions.
Peter’s continuing education currently revolves around participation in Russell Delman’s Embodied Life™ Mentorship Program, which is an approach to human transformation based on the integration of meditation, movement and self-inquiry.
