Prajna Te Meditation
The Practice
SO WHAT EXACTLY IS PRAJNA TE?
There are three essential components of Prajna Te: Teamwork, Movement and Communication. Prajna Te is designed to be done with a practice partner and foster camaraderie. The more practice partners you have the better! It will be a different experience each time. Many people lack the motivation or ability to meditate by themselves. Having a practice partner is far more engaging and fun. Teamwork through mutual physical exertion is a time tested approach to increasing one’s sense of community!
Movement is essential! This is not a sitting meditation. Prajna Te movements are designed to get your whole body involved in the meditation. A distinct element of this practice is not to meditate on or about something but to BE the meditation. You and your practice partner get to decide the tempo and intensity...just keep moving!
Prajna Te is social. Participants must communicate through movement and speaking to each other. Your experience will differ based upon (1) the pace that you and your practice partner take; (2) who your practice partner is and; (3) the particular set of Prajna Te movements in the practice. If you're interested in experiencing an athletic and exhilarating meditation practice that combines all of these elements then you must try Prajna Te!
